3. Do we need a GSA Contract
to sell to the Federal Government?
Answer:
No, a GSA Contract is not necessary, but is the best
vehicle for selling to the Federal Government. Utilizing a GSA Contract
saves the ordering agency much time, paperwork, and labor.
4. Will we get business
automatically if we have a GSA Contract?
Answer:
Not usually, some may come as a result of the GSA's online commerce system, "GSA
Advantage", but you will need to market directly to the Federal Government

5. How is marketing to
the Federal Government different than how I market to the non-government market?
Answer: A quick
answer is that you market to the Procuring Contract Officers or project managers and sell to the
assigned buyer or end

Answer: Absolutely not, if you have the resources necessary
to do the research, analysis, administration, and negotiation.

Answer: No, There is no guarantee
but as long as your company is reputable and experienced, financially sound, your products or
services have a good market, yours prices are reasonable, and your willing to
negotiate terms and conditions you will probably be successful.
